Beautiful and Useful Gift for a Foraging Beginner in the City

I bought this book as a gift for my sister in law, who is very environmentally-aware and newly relocated away from a samphire-laiden coastline to the city. This guide is not only a handy size and beautifully presented, but it has very accessible and useful guidance and tips of what to find where and when - most of which can easily be found (clue’s in the title) in urban areas - perfect for those of us who live in cities but like the idea of foraging, eating locally, sustainably and seasonally. Perhaps the best part, though, are the recipes - interesting and modern menus from your foraging finds (no spoilers, but the sweet chestnut recipe is super intriguing and I hope my sister in law gets an opportunity to try it out). Service was great and comes with a personal note, which was a lovely touch.
