Go Hunting

Often in Winter it can be hard to get motivated to go out for a walk, even more so when you add reluctant little legs into the mix. So we’ve come up with some ideas for keeping those small legs moving which we’ll be sharing with you. First up, the very simple, yet effective Nature ‘Treasure’ Hunt.

Draw some items to find outside on your walk, keep it relatively simple with easy ones - a leaf, twig, stone, acorn and so on. But then add some harder things too - a mushroom or an insect - to keep it interesting. Head off and seek. Maybe there's a reward when you find them all? A cup of hot chocolate perhaps

Adapt the ‘Treasure’ depending on the season, and remember to take along a pen to tick the things off as they are found. Always satisfying.
